Louise’s Boho Scandi Home
Interview Time:
How do you define your style?
I would describe it as a mix of Boho & Scandi with a touch of mid-century design. My love of bold, graphic typography ties into my interior and I am a strong advocate of a natural inspired/monochrome colour palette which links all styles together and keeps flow in my home.
What is the biggest challenge when designing your home?
Space! Being a one bedroom flat in central London space is definitely limited and areas have to be clearly defined and functional too.
Open plan living also means that there has to be a clear flow throughout and I opt for lighter colour schemes to keep the space feeling bigger and brighter.
Whats your favorite spot in your home and why?
I think the bedroom which is a calm, relaxing haven away from the hustle and bustle of London. I particularly love the addition of the picture ledge above the bed meaning I can change up artworks and photos often depending on my mood. Plus swapping bedding and cushions are an easy way to update a space straight away giving it a whole different feel!
