Amy and Craig recently purchased their first home in the vibrant heart of Battersea, eager to infuse it with their personal style. As first-time homeowners, they were keen to create a unique space that truly felt like their own. The flat was in need of additional storage solutions, particularly for clothing, books, and utility items. Inspired by their love for bold blues and the urban vibe of the nearby power station, they envisioned a clean, city Scandi look that balanced sleek design with practical storage. Their goal was to craft a home that not only reflected their personalities but also served as an inviting space to entertain friends and family.

What we did:
Concept / layout
- We began with an online consultation and questionnaire to understand Amy and Craig’s preferences, design style, and specific needs for their new Battersea flat. During the initial meeting, we discussed their desire for a bold, clean city Scandi look, with a focus on functionality and storage.
- A site visit allowed us to address layout challenges and create an initial mood board that aligned with their vision.
- We developed a functional layout that maximised their space, featuring bespoke storage solutions and incorporating bold blues in the joinery and feature walls to make the space uniquely theirs.
Design Development

- Our design focused on creating a modern Scandi aesthetic with bold blues to reflect Amy and Craig’s style. Bespoke joinery in the living room included a large TV unit with open and closed shelving for books and personal items, while the guest bedroom featured a custom wardrobe with tailored internals.
- We designed a custom utility storage solution to keep laundry and cleaning supplies neatly tucked away.
- Bold blues were integrated into the joinery and feature walls, adding depth and vibrancy to the clean, modern look.
- Contemporary furniture, lighting, and accessories were carefully selected to enhance the overall aesthetic, with layers of natural textures adding warmth.
- We provided visualisations and a sample pack to help Amy and Craig see and feel the materials, ensuring every element aligned with their vision.
02. Project Management / Construction
- We provided comprehensive project management from concept to completion, acting as Amy and Craig’s eyes and ears throughout the process.
- We coordinated with a storage unit to receive all deliveries, where we inspected items for quality control before they were transported to the flat for installation. This meticulous approach ensured that all pieces were in perfect condition for the install day.
